The level of unemployment in March 2008 was 6.88%. Compared to the same month in 2008, it has increased by 0.09%. The information was reported by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Emilia Maslarova. The total number of unemployed registered in the labour bureaus is 254 899, which is 3 259 people more than the registered in March 2008.  The incoming unemployed in March were 38 831, while the ones employed during the same month are 31 691 people.
