Preliminary data of NSI for the Third Quarter of 2011 indicated that the total hourly labour cost rose by 7.2% compared to the Third Quarter of 2010.

National Statistical Institute data reports that the consumer price index (CPI) in December 2011 compared to November 2011 was 100.1%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.1%.
10.4% unemployed in December 2011

According to the National Employment Agency, the unemployment in December increased.
NSI reports annual inflation of 4,5%

The consumer price index (CPI) in October 2011 to September 2011 was 100.8%, ie Monthly inflation was 0.8%.
Unabsorbed funds from the state subsidies

Nearly 2.323 million leva of the state subsidies for workers with reduced working hours remain unabsorbed. The total budget of this measure for tackling unemployment was 6.753 million leva. The National Council for Employment Stimulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Emilia Maslarova, has taken a decision for 1.675 million leva of the unabsorbed money to be transferred from some municipalities to others. In this way, the demands of 7457 workers, qualified during the first procedure, will be fulfilled.
